This research deals with the analysis of international and national practice regarding establishing the fair balance
between two important interests – the right to freedom of expression and protection of the independence and
impartiality of the judiciary. The experiences and international practices of other countries reflected in this report will be incorporated into key findings and recommendations that we believe will help maintain both a high standard of freedom of expression and the independence of the judiciary and thus increase public confidence in it.
