Information meeting: Why is it important to use SCOPUS?

The library of Iliauni invites you to the meeting – Why is it important to use the SCOPUS database? – On 16 October, at 17:00pm in the E 307 auditorium of Ilia State University. Scopus is an electronic database which contains bibliographic data from 21000 scientific journal titles of more than 5000 publishers, over 50 entries in total. Users can determine, analyze and visually represent citation/H- index of a concrete author/article by employing diverse tools. The mentioned database helps us constantly control tendencies of the ongoing research process around the world in the fields of science, technology, medicine, humanities and social science.

The meeting will be of interest to master and doctoral students, researchers, professors and staff of the library.

It will be led by the regional manager of Elsevier Mr. Peter Porosh.
